Remember Who I am: Photo Contest

This journey has been an affirmation for me - a reminder of who and what I am. I find that when I get connected to the source I want to communicate directly with you and I want to be a part of healing. So, for me, the way I do that is to remind myself to be grounded, to be balanced. My goal here is to represent in pictures and words what my song is saying in music and lyrics. But I also want this to include my community. I am asking for you to submit pictures of yourself that capture or remind you of your own potential. This photo here to the left - is a picture that has reminded me to be balanced and grounded. It was taken at a retreat where I felt very relaxed and at ease. It serves to bring me back to that bodily feeling of inner warmth and poise. I realize it is probably easier to "show" you what I am envisioning... so I've included a video I created from another song called, 'Brave Open Love' from my CD Jongleur. This should give you a sense of what I'm trying to create with your help and your photos.

Please also provide a brief description of why this particular photo reminds you of who you are!
